Advantages of Vantage Ag Sulphur in Canola Production
Sulphur management continues to be one of the most common yield-limiting factors in canola, especially in lighter soils and high-yield environments. In our in-field trials, Vantage Ag Sulphur demonstrated how effectively sulphur deficiencies can be corrected quickly, economically, and with minimal disruption to normal spray operations.
In-Field Trial Results
Prior to application, soil and tissue samples taken on June 16, 2025 clearly showed sulphur levels below optimal ranges. Both the soil test and the canola tissue analysis confirmed that sulphur availability and plant uptake were limiting crop performance at that stage of growth
Vantage Ag Sulphur was applied on June 17, 2025, conveniently tank-mixed with the first pass of herbicide. This allowed sulphur to be applied without an additional field pass, saving time, fuel, and labor while ensuring nutrients were available early when the crop demand was increasing.
A follow-up tissue sample collected on June 27, 2025 showed a strong improvement in sulphur levels within the plant, demonstrating rapid uptake and availability. Visually, the crop responded with improved vigor and uniformity, confirming that the sulphur applied was both accessible to the plant and efficiently utilized
